Monitor stock water and irrigation flow across pipes from 25 mm to 350 mm. Real-time flow and total-volume reporting helps identify leaks early, track allocations, and inform water-licence compliance.

FarmPulse offers water flow monitoring in three configurations:

• With a supplied mechanical or electromagnetic meter — a complete kit including the flow meter and reedswitch cable, sized to suit your line. Ideal for new installs where a dedicated meter is being fitted. For stock flow monitoring we recommend a 50mm water meter such as a Bermad Multijet water meter.
• With a supplied insertion flow meter — fits a range of pipe diameters via a saddle (sold separately to match pipe size), suiting larger or existing pipework where an inline meter isn’t practical. We use both ManuFlo and FLOWMEC meters.
• Retrofit to an existing water meter — connects to an existing meter’s pulse / reedswitch output, making use of metering you already have in place.

Each configuration is available with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT) or Wi-Fi connectivity, solar or AC power.

Track bulk milk flow at the dairy vat or wash bay 

FarmPulse offers milk flow monitoring in the following configuration:

• A Process Data PD340 magflow meter  with PD210 display mounted in a steel enclosure for in-shed installation.

This configuration is available with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT) or Wi-Fi connectivity, solar or AC power.

Plumbing fittings are quoted separately based on the existing pipework.

Continuous level monitoring for water tanks and other on-farm liquid storage.

FarmPulse offers tank level monitoring in the following configurations:

• An IFM stainless steel submersible pressure sensor 
• Tanks up to 2.5 m — IFM PS4208 sensor, 5 m cable.
• Tanks up to 6 m — IFM PS4407 sensor, 10 m cable.
• An IFM or MaxBotix ultrasonic sensor – the model and type will depend on tank contents

Each depth range is available with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT), Wi-Fi, or satellite (Myriota) connectivity. Solar-powered variants suit standalone tanks; battery-powered satellite variants are designed for remote tanks where solar isn’t practical. 

Continuous level monitoring for dams.

FarmPulse offers dam level monitoring in the following configurations:

•  Klay Aquacer 1 bar sensor for dams up to 10 m with 25 m cable.
•  Klay Aquacer 2.5 bar sensor for dams up to 25 m with 50 m cable.

On provision of a suitable dam survey, dam volume can be calculated.

Each configuration is available with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT), Wi-Fi, or satellite (Myriota) connectivity, all solar-powered. The system includes fittings, mounts and installation consumables for dam-bank deployment.

Profile-level soil monitoring

FarmPulse offers soil monitoring in the following configurations:

• Sentek Drill and Drop soil probes
• 30 cm probe — moisture and temperature only, or moisture + temperature + salinity.
• 60 cm probe — moisture and temperature only, or moisture + temperature + salinity.
• EnviroPro Precision soil probes
• 40 cm probe — moisture and temperature only, or moisture + temperature + salinity.
• 80 cm probe — moisture and temperature only, or moisture + temperature + salinity.

All configurations are solar-powered with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT) or WiFi connectivity and a 5 m sensor cable.

Monitor pipe and pump pressure. Helps detect pump cycling, blocked filters, pipe burst events, and over-pressure conditions before they cause damage.

FarmPulse offers pressure monitoring in the following configurations:

• Danfoss Pressure Sensor – 0–6, 0–10 or 0–16 bar range, selected at order based on the application).
  
• IFM Pressure Sensor – 0–6, 0–10 or 0–16 bar range, selected at order based on the application).

Each configuration is available with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT), Wi-Fi, or satellite (Myriota) connectivity, all solar-powered.

Monitor wind speed and direction, air temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation, vapour pressure, atmospheric pressure and rainfall. Observations captured support spray-window decisions, frost forecasting, irrigation planning, evapotranspiration (ETo) calculation, and pasture-growth modelling.

FarmPulse offers weather and microclimate monitoring in the following configurations:

• All in one weather station – METER ATMOS 41 paired with a Hyquest TB4 tipping-bucket rain gauge.
• Hyquest tipping-bucket rain gauge
• TB4 — research-grade tipping bucket, the same gauge used in our weather station.
• TB7 — lower-cost tipping bucket, suitable where rainfall data is the primary requirement.
• Microclimate monitoring – an ERHTP20 temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure sensor in a radiation screen. Designed for frost forecasting and microclimate tracking in vineyards, orchards, and horticulture.

Each configuration is available with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT), Wi-Fi, all solar-powered.   Pole-mount kit and bird guard included where necessary.

Battery-powered GPS trackers for movable assets and livestock, Movement-based and periodic reporting modes are available.  Live location, movement events, and historical paths are available.

FarmPulse offers asset and livestock tracking in the following configurations:

• Livestock GPS Trackers — supplied as a 5-pack, fitted to Dairy Master cow collars (collars included). AAA batteries.
• Equipment GPS Trackers — supplied as a 3-pack for pivots, towed implements, vehicles, and other movable farm assets. AA batteries.

The FarmPulse Livestock GPS Trackers can be integrated to the Pasture.io Auto Grazer for automated grazing allocation and pasture management.

Each configuration is available with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT).

Monitor electric fence voltage. Provides early warning of fence-down events, falling battery voltage, and ground-fault conditions.

FarmPulse offers electric fence monitoring in the following configuration:

• Pakton 0-10kV fence voltage sensor – with 5 m cable.

This configuration is available with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT), Wi-Fi, or satellite (Myriota) connectivity, solar or AC power.

Track on-farm fuel and oil dispensing using flow meters suitable for bulk-fuel or workshop installation.

FarmPulse offers fuel and oil flow monitoring in the following configuration:

• A FLOWMEC oval-gear meter for oil flow monitoring.

This configuration is available with cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT) or Wi-Fi connectivity, solar or AC power.

Plumbing fittings are quoted separately based on the existing pipework.

Solar-powered remote monitor for non-standard sensor combinations. Selectable connectivity at order — cellular (LTE-CatM1 / NB-IoT), Wi-Fi, or satellite (Myriota) — with digital, analog and SDI-12 sensor inputs.

Configured per customer requirement. Sensor components quoted separately. Suitable for one-off and unusual monitoring needs — non-standard probes, third-party sensors, multi-sensor sites, or research applications where the off-the-shelf kits don’t quite fit.

The FarmPulse subscription is made up of two elements:

• FarmPulse Platform Subscription (12 months) — per-sensor charge covering secure cloud-hosted access to your monitoring data via the FarmPulse Dashboard ( https://data.farmpulse.com.au), including alerts, historical data, and integration with third-party services.
• Network Subscription (12 months) — per device charge covering the cellular and satellite network costs for 4G and Myriota-connected devices. Not required for Wi-Fi devices, which use the farm’s existing internet connection.
